With a unique approach, meforyou simplifies the process for an individual to work sustainably and substantially within services and treatments. All the hassle of starting your own business is replaced by our service with booking and payment functions, administration, book keeping and accounting as well as the security of being insured during working hours.
On the platform, all bookings and transactions are processed and a taxed salary is paid to the provider within 10 days after the service has been completed. All transactions are made on the platform and paid at the time of booking. Bank ID is required upon registration to ensure the identity of both parties.

With us, your service works as if you were running a business, but you are paid as an employee as we take responsibility for accounting for the VAT you would have to pay as a self-employed person. The VAT is usually 25% and is added to a service or good. More about VAT.
Skatteverket charges 31.42% for each employee a company has. If you run your own business, 31.42% is added to the gross salary you earn. More about employer’s tax.
30% of your gross salary goes to Skatteverket, this percentage can vary a little but it is the most commonly applied tax rate. With us, your payroll tax is automatically deducted from your gross salary.
For the self-employed, VAT, employer’s contribution and tax must be declared regularly to Skatteverket. You can either do this yourself or hire an accountancy firm, which usually charges around SEK 700 per hour. With us, this is included in our service package.
If you are self-employed, you must declare all income to Skatteverket. This means that you need to have copies of the receipts the customer receives. The receipts should show how much of the cost is VAT. The receipts must match the income in your bank account. With us, you don’t have to do the administration, you get a taxed salary paid to your personal account and the VAT receipt is sent to the customer by email when booking.
Companies pay to have bank accounts. Different banks have different models, but some charge you for paying invoices. As well, there is the banks’ corporate Swish, which charges a monthly fee plus a fee for each transaction. The fee can vary at different banks. With our service package, you avoid these extra costs.
Customers want to be able to pay by card. Every time they pay you, you have to pay a few percent to a credit card company. The percentage can vary from company to company. These costs are included in our service package.
With our service package, you get paid within 10 days. Whereas, as a self-employed person, invoicing is used. An invoice is written and sent to the customer, who then has 30 days to pay. It is possible to choose a shorter payment period, but it is not certain that the customer will accept this – which means that the money will only arrive after 30 days.
Everyone who works independently needs insurance. You may suffer an injury or a customer may report you for something, whether you did something wrong or not. Through Gigger AB, our partner, you are insured with IF during your work shift.
Swedelance AB, which owns meforyou.se, is your payroll provider via Gigger AB. Even if you work for yourself, you are employed by Gigger AB, but it is Swedelance AB/ meforyou that pays your salary. This is done quickly and effortlessly after your client has had their service or treatment carried out.
Bank ID provides security. Once you’ve registered with Bank ID, both we and the customer know with certainty who the person is who will be doing the work. The same goes for the customer, who needs to identify themselves in order to book you. This is to make everyone feel safe at an appointment and to avoid various types of crime.
All this service is included in our administrative fee of 15.56%
Without payment there will be no treatment, because the customer pays at the time of booking. The customer is automatically refunded without your involvement if there is a cancellation.
How to use our smart service package
Here you can see your digital office with shop after registration.
Log in with your Bank ID to create your profile and shop. Bank ID is used to ensure the identity of both you and your customers. We want you to feel safe working in different locations.
Fill in all the information on your profile, then you will receive an email from our partner Gigger AB – asking you to approve Swedelance AB as your payroll provider, and to create an account with them to manage your future payments.
Good images and a clear presentation of your service will give you a better chance of attracting new customers. A video presentation of your service can also increase the chances of getting a job. You can upload a video to YouTube, for example, and then use a link.
With us, you get paid like a company. Choose a reasonable hourly rate you want to be paid after tax. Always calculate the amount x 3.6. To get about 150 SEK/hour – calculate 150 x 3.6 = 540 SEK is what you need to take per hour from your customer.
Share your profile on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and via email. Once you have completed your page and described your service in the ” boutique ” use the link from your page and start sharing. This is the easiest way to promote yourself.
Salary within 10 days. Once you have received a booking on the site, you will receive an email and can view the booking in your calendar. The customer has already paid and as soon as you have performed your service, the money goes to accounting and your salary can be paid.
